2024 WOMAN OF GOLD

As a Mining Manager I was often the only woman with a seat at the table.

When I looked around me, I looked, sounded and thought differently than everyone else.

Female participation in the mining industry in Australia is increasing, but progress is incredibly slow.  That’s why I actively engage in mentoring emerging leaders, connecting women to share our stories and celebrate our achievements and through my leadership development programs give women the skills to speak up and be heard, be confident and expand their influence.

My hope for the future is that there are women at every table, at every level of the mining industry.  For every woman in a role, there is another woman to look up to at every step, paving the way forward.

“To me equality means understanding that we all need different things to be able to have the same opportunities."
