Justine Barragan
2024 WOMAN OF GOLD
Meet Justine, a formidable force and compassionate entrepreneur who embarked on her journey in the disability services sector at the age of 17. Now, at 37, I stand as the founder of a thriving NDIS support coordination business. I'm not just a business owner; I'm a symbol of strength, resilience, and determination.
As a single mother of four children, I defied societal expectations, working full-time, pursuing an advanced diploma, and even building a home for my family. My late diagnosis as neurodivergent only fueled my passion for mental health and disability advocacy.
What sets me apart is my commitment to empowering others, especially women. At the heart of my business are strong, diverse, and passionate women, each with their own lived experiences of disability and mental health. I foster a supportive environment, offering a flexible work-from-home arrangement and actively encouraging professional and personal growth within my team.
In the regional Bendigo community, I'm not just a businesswoman; I'm a leader, a mentor, and a catalyst for positive change. Through my business, I not only provide invaluable support to those in need but also create opportunities for women to succeed, exemplifying the strength that comes from lifting each other up.
“I am Justine – a woman of strength, vision, and empowerment.“
